The bay window is a major design consideration. It allows for large amounts of light to enter the main room. Based on a spiral motif, it bends into a reading and relaxing pit with bookshelves lining the walls
Burglar bars are a necessity but do not have to be ugly or plain.
Need to provide for plenty of support to take second story walls and other loads.
The woodwork can all be custom made. The craftsmanship exists. It would also work well in an organic way
The area outside the dining room is a transition space. One can enjoy the outdoors while be covered. The trellis breaks up as it goes out. A table can be placed to dine or sit outside.
Thick walls can help support the roof and second floor
Nature is imposed on a grid
